Cypress Grill: Experience Authentic Cajun and Seafood Delights in Austin

First time here and came for an early lunch before traveling. This place was amazing! Jamie at the bar was very knowledgeable on the menu and let us taste test the crawfish étouffée ( the best ever by the way). Everything was really good. Would for sure come back if I’m ever in the area.

First time here and what a vibe !! The food was absolutely amazing Chilled music, clean space, Well priced. Our waitress Araceli was friendly and provided awesome service. Great staff, Definitely want to go back and try more of the menu.

You get some amazing food here at Cypress Grill. I enjoyed every bite of everything, and the service was amazing, too. It was a bit of a wait when we went, but we sat at the patio, although a little hot and humid just because we didn't want to wait. There were fans outside, so it wasn't too bad. Can't wait to come back again.

Delish! I had the Atchafalaya Catfish and gumbo. Folks were very friendly. It was packed, and I could see why. Definitely worth a visit.

Okay, we stopped in for $3.99 mimosas but then... We went in and sat at the bar. Tim was our bartender and he was top notch! Friendly, informative and one of two reasons we will absolutely be back. The other reason was the food. Mind blowing! We got the Creole Eggs Benedict with grits and red beans and rice. I don't have the words to express how good everything was! The eggs had a dark golden yolk and the ham... But the hollandaise sauce was probably the best part! On top of everything Tim brought us samples of the chicken gumbo and seafood ettouffe and both were delicious! I can't over emphasize that you need to check this place out. The location is right off Loop 1 so very convenient!

Ordered to-go. Crawfish Po'Boy and Crawfish Egg Rolls. Both packed with flavor and not overly seasoned. Great dipping sauces to accompany. Easy parking lot. Small restaurant so there was a wait for breakfast.

My siblings and I love coming here for our Wednesday dinners. Also a plus that Happy Hour is all day on Wednesday as well. All the dishes are great but my favorite is the Trout and the Pasta Evangeline. As an appetizer, boudin balls and crawfish eggrolls..just get them!. Service is always welcoming and on point. I recommend making a reservation especially for dinner because it gets packed. ROB is our familiar ,favorite server and he is absolutely awesome and humorous! The Rosa Parks Section adores you! I highly recommend this gem that puts out authentic cajun classics. Go eat there today you won't regret it!
